April 17: Modern Art: Breaking the Rules. - Examine how and why modern artists challenged and departed from traditional academic styles.
June 5: Renaissance : The rebirth of beauty - The rise of humanism, the return of classical ideas and beauty, & the power and scandal of the Catholic Church.
July 24: Censored: What crosses the line? -From the Church to the streets, David to Duchamp - A tasteful look at the blurred boundaries of expression from the Byzantine to Today.
December 9: STOLEN: Heists that made history. Daring art thefts and the ethics of who owns history.

Join me for a smart, engaging, and enjoyable night exploring how artists have pictured a variety of types of love across time. From divine love to friendship, we will talk about some masterpieces of art history. Whether you come solo or with a date, you’ll find great company, thoughtful discussion, and coffee & dessert to sweeten the evening.
