April 17: Modern Art: Breaking the Rules. - Examine how and why modern artists challenged and departed from traditional academic styles.
June 5: Renaissance : The rebirth of beauty - The rise of humanism, the return of classical ideas and beauty, & the power and scandal of the Catholic Church.
July 24: Censored: What crosses the line? -From the Church to the streets, David to Duchamp - A tasteful look at the blurred boundaries of expression from the Byzantine to Today.
December 9: STOLEN: Heists that made history. Daring art thefts and the ethics of who owns history.
February 12: All you need is Love - (& Art History)

April 30, 7-8:30 pm: LOCAL. Famous Masterpieces in DFW
Join me for a look at famous artwork in DFW. From Pablo Picasso to Frida Kahlo, Claude Monet to Ancient Greek statues...yep! You can see works from these famous artists and many others right here in our metroplex. In fact, Michelangelo's first ever painting is part of a local museum's collection!
Join me for a smart, engaging, and enjoyable evening exploring some of the artistic treasures right here in our area. Gain the insight to impress your friends and family - and discover how to appreciate art in a whole new way, up close and in person.
